HEMTOM PROTOTYPE SAMPLES

See What We Can Make. Without Exposing What Our Customers Are Developing.

Many prototype projects involve products that are still under development. For that reason, Hemtom does not publicly display confidential customer projects without authorization. Instead, this page presents Hemtom-made demonstration samples that show our capabilities in prototype manufacturing.

Customer confidentiality comes first. Demonstration samples are shown here to provide tangible evidence of Hemtom's prototype capabilities without revealing confidential product development work.

What Our Samples Demonstrate

A prototype is more than a physical shape. The finished sample can reveal how appearance, surface quality, part fit, physical details and dimensional requirements come together in a finished product.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

The Details Behind a Finished Prototype

Our demonstration samples are selected to show details that matter when a prototype needs to look, fit and function like a real product.

01

Appearance Quality

Product form, proportions, edges, transitions and overall visual quality of the finished prototype.

02

Color, Texture & Surface Finish

Color matching, surface texture, gloss level and the consistency of the visible finish across prototype surfaces.

03

Fit & Assembly

Part interfaces, housing relationships, component alignment and the physical fit between assembled parts.

04

Functional & Physical Details

Where required, prototypes can also demonstrate physical interactions such as buttons, hinges, sliding or opening details.

The finished prototype is the evidence. Rather than relying only on process descriptions, Hemtom uses physical samples to demonstrate the appearance, surface quality, fit and details that matter to product development teams.

APPEARANCE & MATERIAL EVIDENCE

More Than a Finished Shape

A prototype can go beyond geometry. Depending on the project, appearance, texture, transparency, coating, decorative details and material effects can all be part of the physical evaluation.

Surface, Texture & Paint

Surface appearance can significantly change how a prototype is perceived. These samples show different approaches to texture, gloss, metallic appearance and tactile surface effects.

Transparency & Special Effects

Transparent and optical effects can be important when the prototype includes visible internal areas, layered surfaces or a specific visual effect.

Decorative & Graphic Details

Small decorative details can have a large effect on the perceived finish of a prototype. These samples demonstrate different visual and graphic treatment possibilities.

Materials & Material Effects

Prototypes may also need to communicate the look and feel of different materials. These samples show how material appearance and tactile qualities can be incorporated into physical models.

The purpose of a prototype is not simply to make a part. It is to make the product tangible enough to evaluate, refine and communicate before the next stage of development.

CUSTOMER CONFIDENTIALITY

Why Customer Projects Are Not Shown Here

Many prototype projects are developed before a product is publicly announced or released. For that reason, Hemtom does not use confidential customer projects as public case studies without authorization.

PROJECT CONFIDENTIALITY

Customer Projects Stay Protected

Product prototypes may contain unreleased designs, product geometry, physical details or other development information. Hemtom therefore treats project information as confidential throughout quotation, review and manufacturing.

NDA & FILE ACCESS

Detailed Information Is Shared on a Need-to-Know Basis

Project files are made available only to personnel involved in communication, quotation, project review and manufacturing. An NDA can also be arranged before detailed project files are shared.

01

Confidential Files

CAD files and project information are handled according to project requirements and access needs.

02

Physical Prototypes

Physical customer prototypes are not publicly photographed or displayed as case studies without authorization.

03

Public Samples Instead

The samples on this page are Hemtom-made demonstration samples selected to show physical prototype capabilities without exposing customer development work.

Need to discuss a confidential project before sharing detailed CAD files? You can start with general project information and arrange an NDA before providing sensitive files.

QUALITY VERIFICATION

How We Verify Prototype Quality

A finished prototype needs to be evaluated from more than one perspective. Depending on the project, Hemtom uses dimensional, visual, surface and fit-related checks to verify the finished sample.

01

Dimensions

Dimensional requirements can be checked using measurement equipment appropriate to the geometry and tolerance requirements of the prototype.

02

Appearance

Visual inspection can cover color, surface condition, gloss, texture and other visible appearance requirements specified for the prototype.

03

Fit & Assembly

Where required, assembled prototypes can be checked for part interfaces, alignment, clearances and physical assembly relationships.

04

Surface & Color

Depending on the project, surface and color evaluation can include gloss, color comparison and other visual references.

MEASUREMENT & INSPECTION EQUIPMENT

Inspection Tools Matched to the Requirement

Hemtom uses different inspection and measurement tools according to the geometry, surface and quality requirements of each project.
